Michael Pastor Dozal is an award winning creative director and maker of rad shit. He was born and raised in Culver City, moved to New York, moved to Paris, moved back to LA, currently living in Venice. He is an avid bodysurfer, rare cactus collector, proud Chicano, and all around shralper.
Michael is the Associate Creative Director at PRETTYBIRD a production company / creative think tank. He works closely with a roster of 20+ directors focusing on original films, creative ideation, client pitching, branded content, commercial production, visual research, director treatments, branding & special projects.
He is a co-founder of DRFTWD LA, a chicano-led bodysurf art collective & clothing company and hosts a bi-monthly radio show in Venice called DRFTWD radio on 99.1FM.
Michael has worked on a wide variety of projects for clients including: Nike, Apple, Calvin Klein, Crypto.com, Adidas, patagonia, Ford, McDonalds, NBA, WNBA, FIFA, Coors Banquet, Miller Lite, YETI, Stumptown Coffee, Coors Light, to name a few. Projects he has worked on have won many awards most notably a Clio Grand as Art Director.
