	On The Clock
	After a historic Super Bowl win, the LA Rams wanted to make a big splash on Draft Day. Notorious for making strategic and critical draft selections despite rarely having picks in the first round, the LA Rams have owned the phrase “Steal The Draft”. 
We took this to concept to the next level creating a mock heist film trailer for a fictitious film. To play the upper management and some LA Rams staff we gathered a group of A-List actors featuring Dennis Quaid, Tyrese, Josh Holloway, Scott Eastwood, and filled in the rest of the cast with LA Rams stars including Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Ramsey, Van Jefferson, Terrell Burgess.
The film was released initially as a surprise film trailer and shortly branded and owned by the LA Rams. Social Media, fans and sport broadcasts immediately fell in love.&#38;nbsp;

	The Casual Types
	With a tagline and an open prompt for a brand anthem launch, Santa Barbara shoe brand SeaVees wanted to make a splash and expand their audience. We pitched three different campaing ideas with multiple scripts for each. The chosen idea centered around artists in timeless crafts that intertwine their life with their art.
Tapping into my network of creatives and friends, we landed on four unique and extremely talented characters that breathed life into this visual portrait.&#38;nbsp;

	Blue Heart


	Aptly named the Blue Heart of Europe, the Balkan region lays claim to the last of the continents wild rivers. In partnership with Patagonia we told the story of the grassroots bare knuckle battle against a proposed 1000 dams that would destory Europe’s last free flowing river system.

Shot over the span of two weeks with a splinter cell crew, the film was an intimate portait of a land and people on the brink of environmental destruction. Musician and composer Andrew Bird created an original score for the film.

Not only was the documentary well received, but it created widespread urgency to defund and remove the harmful dam projects, exposing the corruption and lack of consideration for environmental impact. Since the film’s release, construction of multiple dams has been permanently halted and major funding has pulled out of the larger projects.&#38;nbsp;

	Global Film Tour &#38;amp; Activations
	The film premiered in the Balkans, where the very first showing was a projection on one of the dams featured in the film. A majority of the audience was the actual characters featured in the film and their families.

After touring throughout the Balkans and Europe, the film did a U.S. tour at every Patagonia store plus two concert hall showings with live performances by Andrew Bird.

	A longtime client, Stumptown came to Farm League with a creatively open, yet highly specific brief looking to make a film that took place in Ethiopia.&#38;nbsp; After paring back five initial ideas, we pitched a single idea of creating a&#38;nbsp; visual docu-style poem interpreting Ethiopian culture, focusing on the intersection of art, music, mythology &#38;amp; coffee.
Our pitch centered around two Ethiopian masters&#38;nbsp;Mulatu Astatke (the founder of Ethio-Jazz) &#38;amp; Haile Gebre (one of the country’s largest and oldest organic coffee producers). It sounded amazing on paper, but the physical distance between the US &#38;amp; Ethiopia combined with political insecurities made securing our talent extremely difficult. After countless emails, midnight skype calls, Whatsapp miscommunications and phone calls, we tracked down both lead characaters.

To inform the production approach, we began with the intention of releasing the film as a multi-media art exhibit &#38;amp; film activation. With the exhibition as the end goal, our production team armed itself with 35mm, 16mm, 4k cameras, a plethora of film stocks and multiple stills cameras.

Wax &#38;amp; Gold trancends the narrative driven documentary and creates an interpretive visual poem told exclusively from the Ethiopian characters in the film.

	Film Activation
	From the start, our team approached the film as an art piece first, shooting longer takes from visually dynamic angles than we normally would for a traditional doc. The exhibiton was held in a Hollywood warehouse to a sold out crowd. &#38;nbsp;The film was projected onto a 50’ CYC wall with a multi screen projection experience, a coffee ceremony, traditional dance performance, Ethiopian vinyl DJ and Ethiopian food + wine + coffee pairing.&#38;nbsp;

	Poster + Title Design
	The title Wax &#38;amp; Gold came from an Ethiopian traditional proverb loosely translating to the two sides of one word. The title design reflected that concept with the English and Ahmaric translation. The promotional materials used on social and in print at coffee shops as window splash included a two tone color pallette with bold typography.
